This photo was taken for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. “You’ll Like Tacoma” was the official slogan of Tacoma for decades following the exposition.
Thousands of postcards with this image were given out to attendees of the exposition in hopes of driving tourists to Tacoma. We found one of the original postcards and scanned it to make this high-res poster.
