Community Cleanup at Jennie Reed Elementary

What:East Abes, Jennie Reed Neighbors, Lincoln Area Watch Group and Lincoln South Community Cleanup When: May 18, 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Where: Jennie Reed Elementary (1802 S. 36th St.)Residents who live in houses or duplexes in the city of Tacoma can bring broken or unwanted household items to their Community Cleanup at no cost.A driver’s license or utility bill is required as proof of residence.On the event day, neighborhood volunteers and City staff are on-site to assist residents dropping off materials. Elderly or residents who have a disability, and cannot bring items to their cleanup, can call the City’s Call-2-Haul Program (253-573-2468) to schedule a curbside pickup instead.Paper shredding services are available at Giaudrone Middle School from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on August 10.For more information, visit cityoftacoma.org/communitycleanup or call 311 inside the Tacoma city limits or (253) 591-5000 from anywhere.
