Class Benefiting the Puyallup Tribe

November 28, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

100% of ticket sales will be donated to the Puyallup Tribe.

For some, the fourth Thursday in November is a food and gratitude centered holiday, for others it is a day of mourning. On November 28th, we will gather in community for a moment of silence and remembrance for the ancestors and the people whose land we are occupying followed by a Vinyasa-based class. This class will focus on mindful breath and movement to start your day with intention and awareness

All levels welcome.

Space donated by Court House Square.

From Real Rent Duwamish, other ways to celebrate while honoring this holiday’s history and respecting Native neighbors:
+Recognize – Learn about the Indigenous Peoples of the land you are on.
+Replace – Start new holiday traditions that center indigenous justice.
+Restore – Give monthly funds to causes benefiting Native People.
+Relate – Build authentic relationships with Native neighbors and community members. Support Native-led movements to protect the environment and to demand justice for victims of violence.
