City of Destiny Awards Ceremony

Mayor Victoria Woodards and the City Council will recognize Tacoma’s top volunteers during this year’s 33rd annual City of Destiny Awards on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 5 to 7:30 PM. The event will take place at the STAR Center (3873 S. 66th St. in Tacoma). The event will include a 5 PM meet and greet with the awards ceremony following at 6 PM in Journey Hall. The City of Destiny Awards program is spearheaded by a City Council appointed City Events and Recognitions Committee comprised of local community leaders from a broad array of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
