What: Capital Heights, Oakland Madrona and Central Neighborhood Council Community Cleanup When: May 11 , 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Where: Franklin Elementary (1402 S. Lawrence St.) Residents who live in houses or duplexes in the city of Tacoma can bring broken or unwanted household items to their Community Cleanup at no cost. A driver’s license or utility bill is required as proof of residence. On the event day, neighborhood volunteers and City staff are on-site to assist residents dropping off materials. Elderly or residents who have a disability, and cannot bring items to their cleanup, can call the City’s Call-2-Haul Program (253-573-2468) to schedule a curbside pickup instead.
