If you’ve ever wanted to run a small business but didn’t know exactly where to start, this could be a great opportunity. William Manzanares, local business owner and co-founder of Grit City Magazine, is giving away a K9000 Dog Wash to the person with the best business proposal.

If professional dog washing isn’t your lifelong dream, don’t worry; this thing pretty much runs itself and would make a great addition to many other business ventures. Basically, a customer pays $10 for 10 minutes of dog washing. If you’ve ever tried washing a dog in a bathtub or even a front yard, you’ll understand how much of a pain it can be. A little convenience goes a long way and is easily worth $10 to a lot of people around here. You come up with the plan, you keep the profits. It’s that simple.

Here’s a little more info on how the K9000 works:

So why give away an easy money maker? Because William likes supporting local entrepreneurs. He’s closing one of his businesses where the dog wash is located and rather than sell it on Craigslist, he thought this would be a good opportunity to get the local business community involved. William, a Tacoma native and member of the Puyallup Tribe, spends his free time as a business consultant and mentor for local youth.

Franchise Gator recommends at least $24,000 to invest in a new K9000 setup but you get it for free. All you have to do is come up with a plan for how you’re going to make this thing successful. As simple as it is to operate though, you’re gonna have to do more than set it up in your garage with a cardboard advertisement taped to your mailbox. William is looking for legit business proposals. Learn more about the business end of the K9000 here.

Proposals and questions should be sent to william@gritcitymag.com by midnight on September 5th.
